St. Kitts - A Honeymooners Paradise!

Well - it's official - finally married! Needless to say, it was a very fun evening.

If anyone is looking for a relaxing place to go on their honeymoon, look no further than St. Kitts. The best of both the Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean Sea. Many attractions - snorkeling, rain forests, horseback riding, golf and the weather is to die for.

On top of it all, there are the green-back monkeys - wild or on the beach - plenty to have a picture (or two) with. And of course, you can't avoid the casino/sportbook - a great way to unwind after a fun-filled day at the pool or beach. Finish off your stay with a day trip to neighboring Nevis . . . another beautiful island.

Where to stay? The St. Kitts Marriott Resort & The Royal Beach Casino (http://marriott.com/property/propertypage/SKBRB) - definitely look into the all inclusive packages! It will make your stay hassle free and the food is excellent (Italian, Seafood, American, Steak - they have it all!)

The employees are very friendly and make you feel at home (Sheila at the front desk or Lisa at the pool - top picks in our books!)

Like we said - looking for that dream vacation - take the Gunther's advice - St. Kitts all the way!

Election Day 2006 (link to CNN's 'America Votes 2006)

Who will win control of Congress? Too close to call at this time.

Many seats are up for grabs in the House, Senate and even some Governor posts.

Will the war in Iraq be the deciding factor? The economy has improved greatly over the past few months, the Dow hitting a record high - increasing confidence, jobless rates decreasing - but the war is fresh in everyone's mind. Scandal rips through government with no surprise. Hussein sentenced to death. A lot of factors will run through the minds of Americans tomorrow.

Tomorrow should be an interesting day for the candidates. All we can say is - Get out and vote!

2005-06 Winter Weather Outlook

So . . . curious about the upcoming weather? Look no further - "Storm" Gunther is here.

The near term - Next week - Sunny - it better be - time to get married on November 11th! (Happy Veterans Day to all)

Overall, looking at a moderate winter, with stormy periods. Could have a repeat of last Thanksgivings snow, but still a bit early to tell. Look for the possibility of a few sizeable storms here in the Northeast in late December through February - definitely setting up for a pattern similar to 2002-2003 season.

Needless to say - looks like the shovels and even snowblowers will be called upon this winter. More to come as the winter weather shapes up (and Santa Claus gets me my weather station!)
